The Topping TP23 is a high performance T-AMP based on the Tripath TA2021 amplifier chip. The TP23 has an integrated USB DAC that dramatically reduces noise and interference and allows the amplifier to turn off when the computer is off or in standby.

Tripath TA2021B Chipset

Topping TP23 is a so-called Class T integrated amplifier, based on the Tripath TA2021B chipset. The chip makes use of a kind of "Digital Power Processing", this is, more or less, a Class D amplifier with high rate switching properties.

USB DAC

Topping TP23 use Burr-Brown PCM2704 USB Port + NXP UDA1351TS DAC. It is a dedicated computer amp, having only a single USB input. Plug the TP23 into a Windows, Mac, or Linux computer with the attached USB cable and it should be instantly recognized as an external sound card. The TP23 will turn on or off depending on the presence of the USB signal from the computer the only control on the amp is a big, friendly volume knob, front and center.

Two-Channel Output

The TA2021B is a 25W/channel continuous average two-channel Class-T Digital Audio Power Amplifier IC using Tripath\'s proprietary Digital Power Processing technology.

CNC-Machined Aluminum Construction

The housing of this little amp is made from aluminium with a nice and Thick front plate and a high quality powder coated and ribbed housing. The connectors used are gold plated and of exellent quality, The volume knob has lighting on the back side instead of the one LED on the older model, this is much eazyer to the Eye.
